Today I ditched Slackware for Debian and I have to admit I'm quite suprisd. The folks over at Debian provide excellent documentation on installing, and the system is easy to maintain once setup with their wonderful package management tool called "apt-get". I upgraded from the stable release tree to the unstable right when I installed as the stable tree is out of date, but hey, it's stable and probably will not cause any problems. Then I downloaded the kernel source for 2.6.4 from kernel.org, compiled, and made a debian kernel package, thanks to my friend for helping me out with that. All I have to say is USE DEBIAN BITCHES!
